At last week's Board meeting, the DISD School Board Recognized the following:
(0649) The Dalhart ISD Maintenance Department for going above and beyond
(0651) The Dalhart FFA State Qualifying Judging Teams
(0652) The DHS Softball Team, finished 3rd in the district and qualified for the Bi-District Round of the Play-offs
It is not pictured due to a conflict with a 7 on 7 football game. The baseball team was recognized for finishing district tied for 3rd place and they qualified for the Bi-District Round of the Play-offs
(0655) Mr. Abla recognized the sponsors and the DJHS Student Council for receiving 3 awards for serving others in our school district and community.
(0660) Regional and State Qualifying Powerlifters
(0662) Tennis Team District Champions and Regional qualifiers
(0664) Golf, both the boys and girls were the district runners-up at the district tournament, and the girls' and boys teams qualified for the regional tournament. Ms. Gracie Schniederjan was the individual district champion at the district tournament.
(0667) Ms. Abby Trach and the 6th Grade Band for receiving an "Outstanding" at the Greater Southwest Music Festival. That is the highest score you can receive.
(0667) The DHS Culinary Arts Program showed a video and gave the board a report on their trip and competition to Florida.
