On Wednesday, November 30th, the Dalhart High School's GT students attended a filed trip to Cinergy and to the Texas Tech Vet School in Amarillo. At Cinergy, they were split into two groups and participated in an Escape Room where both groups escaped in record time. The manager informed them that he had never had two groups successfully complete the escape room in times that fast. The Freshmen group finished in 45:07 minutes, and the Upperclassmen group finished in 47:11 minutes. For that, the GT students were given a bowling pin trophy that each of them signed. This trophy will be on display at the High School in the trophy case with the all of the athletic trophies.
After lunch the group took a tour of the new Texas Tech Vet School in Amarillo. They asked a lot of great questions and took home a few goodies as well. Click HERE for the Fall GT Newsletter.
