Best Practice (The DOs)

What to Avoid (The DON'Ts)

Power

Turn off the ViewBoard and unplug it before you begin cleaning.

Never clean the board while it is powered on or warm.

Cloth Choice

Use a clean, dry microfiber cloth.

Avoid paper towels, tissues, or napkins, as they can be abrasive.

Cleaning Solution

Apply Screen Cleaner to your cloth if a deeper clean is needed.

Never use Windex, bleach, ammonia, or abrasive scrubbing pads.

Application

Spray the cloth, not the screen.

Don't spray liquids directly onto the glass; it can seep into the sensors.

Touch Sensors

Keep the black frame (bezel) free of dust and stickers.

Don't block the corners or edges, as this is where the infrared sensors live.

Final Step

Let the screen air dry completely before turning the power back on.

Don't leave any moisture sitting in the crevices of the frame.
