Fifth-grade students at DIS have been reading The Lion, The Witch. and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis, the second installment (but first published) of The Chronicles of Narnia series. Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Wilcox (pictured) represented Spring as it is referenced in the book.
The story of four British children evacuated to the countryside during the Blitz of World War II, who find a wardrobe that leads to the fantasy world of Narnia, where they ally with the lion Aslan against the forces of the White Witch.
