The Dalhart ISD FFA Chapter (a Single Teacher Chapter) has been recognized as one of the top-performing FFA programs in the state through the inaugural Texas FFA Golden Cup Rankings — a new statewide recognition platform that highlights the most competitive, involved, and well-rounded FFA chapters in Texas.
Dalhart ISD FFA earned this distinction through consistent participation, strong competitive performance, and meaningful student involvement across a wide range of events during the 2024–2025 academic year.
The Texas FFA Golden Cup Rankings are modeled after the UIL Texas Cup and track chapter performance in Leadership Development Events (LDEs), Career Development Events (CDEs), Speaking Development Events (SDEs), state-level awards, scholarships, and more. Points are awarded based on participation, final placings, and program engagement at all levels.
FFA is a national student organization that prepares members for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture. In Texas, it is the largest student organization in secondary education, with over 180,000 members.
We would also like to recognize Mr. Andrew Hokanson for the amazing job he does running our outstanding DISD FFA program as a one-man band. He does it all and we couldn’t be prouder to have him at Dalhart ISD!
