There is a chance that we will lose electricity tomorrow. They have no plans of shutting off power but out of an abundance of caution, they are setting their sensors on the lowest setting. In the event that we lose power it will not be a quick turnaround.
Therefore, we will move the In-Service Professional Development for staff members to tomorrow Tuesday February 17, 2026. No school for students on Tuesday.
We will have regularly scheduled school for students on Friday February 20, 2026.
There is no guarantee that we will lose power tomorrow. However, in the event that we do, we can send the teachers home to complete professional development. If we do lose power tomorrow we will lose instruction time as well as prevent our cafeteria staff from preparing meals.
