Thank you to Sheriff Stevenson for coming to talk to Mrs. Gordon's Kinder class on Friday. We appreciate your continued support!

Gracias
Dalhart ISD will be conducting safety walk-throughs with emergency personnel today. If you see these vehicles on our school campus, please know this is for training purposes only as we continue to make safety a top priority for our students and staff.
Thank you
DJHS Parents and Volleyball Fans.
Due to AC issues in the DJHS Gyms all Home Junior High Volleyball games will be played in the Gyms on the DHS campus until further notice. Tonight’s games versus Highland Park will be on the DHS Campus.

Last year DES was blessed by a wonderful Dalhart family with the donation of a book vending machine. Our students have enjoyed receiving a token and selecting a book on their birthdays. We want to continue to share a passion for Reading with our students through free books but with over 500 students on campus we need some help from the community. We are seeking donations that will help us purchase additional books for our book vending machine. If you feel called to help with this mission, please contact Dr. Elaine Hyer at DES - 8064330180.

We have been notified that there is a long distance phone outage in the area. We have no estimated repair time currently.
The DES staff is busy preparing for the return of our students. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2024-2025 school year.

Reminders for DES students and parents -
We will post class lists on the front doors of DES on Friday, August 9th at 4 pm
Back to School Night is Monday, August 12th at 5:30 pm.
School begins on Wednesday, August 14th.
DES staff had a wonderful day of learning topped off by a bus trip around Dalhart with Mrs. Rahll. We learned about the different neighborhoods in our amazing community and heard one-of-a-kind stories about Mrs. Rahll's adventures in Dalhart. DES staff appreciate the Rahll's support and can't wait to see our students next week!

Mrs. Ritchey, Ms. Fahnert and their family have dedicated countless hours to revitalizing the Habitat at DES. We appreciate their dedication and look forward to seeing the Habitat become a thriving outdoor classroom for our students.

DES students are engaged in fun learning activities during Summer Academy!

We had 5 students that didn't miss a single day of school-- that's worth celebrating!!
Congratulations!!
