Last night at our DISD School Board Meeting we recognized the DISD Staff Member of the Year, DISD Elementary Teacher of the Year, and DISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Congratulations and thank you for all that you do, to each of these very well deserving ladies!!

DES GT students have been studying acids and bases. Today we did a lab to test different liquids with litmus paper, to see if they were an acid or base. They learned some surprising information on liquids we use and drink.
Los estudiantes de DES GT han estado estudiando ácidos y bases. Hoy hicimos un laboratorio para probar diferentes líquidos con papel tornasol, para ver si eran un ácido o una base. Aprendieron información sorprendente sobre los líquidos que usamos y bebemos.
