Hello!
I hope this message finds you well. I'm excited to share that we will be moving to a new bus tracking system to enhance the safety and efficiency of picking up and dropping off your children.
Please take a moment to review your child's bus routine and make any necessary changes as soon as possible. We aim to start this new system right after the Thanksgiving Break.
Thanks so much for your cooperation and support. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!
Best regards,
DES Administration
DES will be on an early out schedule on Thursday, November 20th and there will be no school on Friday, November 21st. Please pick up your children on time. Buses will run between 12:30 and 1:00 pm
DES will be on an early out schedule on Thursday, November 13th in order for people to travel safely to Lubbock for the football playoff game. Due to this district-wide decision, we have rescheduled PreK/ Head Start and 1st gd Thanksgiving luncheons to Wednesday, November 12th. This change does not impact Kinder or 2nd gd Thanksgiving luncheons. If you have any questions, please call DES on Monday.
DES families -
Depending on the outcome of tonight's high school football game, we may have to reschedule our Thanksgiving meals that are scheduled on Thursday, November 13th. The new date would be Wednesday, November 12th. Same times as our original day. This will impact Thanksgiving lunches for PreK/ Head Start and 1st gd. I will put out additional information over the weekend. Thank you for your understanding.
DES will host friends and family for a wonderful Thanksgiving meal on November 13th for Head Start/ PreK and 1st gd and November 14th for Kinder and 2nd gd. Watch for a flyer to come home this week. We will not be allowing outside of school restaurant food in the cafeteria or gym on those days. Students that regularly bring their lunch may continue to bring their lunch and eat with their classes. We want these days to be focused on the Thanksgiving meal and fellowship with friends and family. Thank you for your understanding. If you have additional questions please call DES.
