Dalhart High School Student Council represented Dalhart at the 90th Annual Texas Association of Student Council State Conference. These 13 leaders were among 4,000 leaders from around our great state. We would like to thank Mr. Byrd, Mrs. Maddox, and Mr. Catherall for your endless support of all the events and projects you allow us to do. Thank you DHS staff and students for always showing your support and love for everything we do. A HUGE thank you to our WOLFPACK for supporting us at our fundraisers and events. We are building great leaders and the best is yet to come!!

If your student plans on running for Student Council or Class Officer, there will be a meeting on Monday for parents and students. If you are unable to make it, contact Laura Amaya at laura.portillo-amaya@dalhartisd.org.

Congratulations to our very own, Brandis Beavers- the newest DHS Thoma Scholar recipient.

Our DHS Art Classes would like to invite our WOLF PACK to the XIT Museum from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm tonight for their annual art show and reception. Come see what our talented artist have been working on all year!

There will be a Parent-Student meeting for anyone wanting to run for Student Council next year on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 5:30 pm in the DHS commons.

Upcoming Important Dates

Tomorrow is the last day to nominate a DHS alumni and/or former DISD employee for our Class of 2026 Leaders of the Pack Hall of Fame.

Read Across America is one of our favorite events we do with our elementary students. Thank you to the DES Administration and teachers for allowing us to do this. Thank you Ms. Wilson, our librarian, for all you do for students.

It's National FFA Week! We couldn't let it go by without giving a HUGE shoutout to our Dalhart FFA chapter. Thank you Dalhart FFA Chapter for shining a light on our ag community! Thank you to Mr. Hokanson for leading these students!

Bowling Tournament is going amazing! Student Council has a Bake Sale going on as well. we have room for teams at 2 pm if you want to bowl!
