Today we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our graduating class. It is a great honor to introduce our 2025 Dalhart High School Valedictorian, Emily Gaines. With a remarkable GPA of 4.25, she has shown incredible dedication and leadership throughout her high school career. Emily has not only excelled academically but has also made significant contributions to our school community through various clubs, sports and organizations. Emily is the daughter of Stephanie and Joe Gaines and plans to attend Texas Tech University to study Psychology.
We also would like to recognize our 2025 Dalhart High School Salutatorian, Lauren Welch. Achieving a GPA of 4.18, she has been an inspiring presence among her peers. Lauren’s enthusiasm for learning and her ability to uplift others have made a lasting impact on her classmates and teachers. Lauren is the daughter of Amy and Travis Welch and plans to attend Auburn University to study Nursing.
Together, these two remarkable individuals exemplify the spirit of excellence and determination that defines our graduating class.


Congratulations DHS Tennis!! The boys are District Champs and the DHS Tennis team as a whole are District Champs. Several athletes qualified for Regionals.










Congratulations to Reese Jenkins and Eli Garcia, DHS Track. These 2 athletes will be competing in pole vault at the State Track meet!!

Last night, Coffee Memorial Blood Center hosted a special dinner to celebrate and honor high school senior volunteers for their contributions during our community blood drives. Each student was awarded a graduation cord as a symbol of their dedication and service. 💉❤️

Congratulations to our DHS Boys Golf team!! These young men placed 1st at the Canadian Tournament on March 17.

There will be a Parent/Student meeting on Monday, March 24, for those students wanting to run for Student Council and Class officers. Any incoming freshmen through incoming seniors are welcome to attend.
