Dalhart ISD will have an early release on Thursday, March 6, for the Dalhart track meet. Classes will release at 12:00 and buses will run at 12:30. Lunch will be served on all campuses.

Also going to State contest for Technical Testing: Steven Thomas: Gold Medal in Light Maintenance and Repair. Tell Atha: Gold Medal in Motorcycle Technology and Bronze Medal in Automotive Tool ID. Legend Robertson: Bronze Medal in Motorcycle Technology. Joshua Walker, Makayla DeMots, Janae Jones-Ivery, Corah Reese, and Alex Peoples: IT Quiz Bowl-3rd Place Leila Salazar, Anna Son, Alex Peoples, Arianna Garcia, and April Gonzalez: Quiz Bowl-3rd Place Joshua Walker: 1st Place Graphic Imaging Sublimation and Makayla DeMots 3rd Place. Anna Son, Corah Reese, and Janae Jones-Ivery: 2nd Place Crime Scene Investigation. State Qualifying Projects: Leila Salazar (Photography), Janae Jones-Ivery (Photography), Makayla DeMots (Digital Illustration), Alex Peoples (Crime Scene Model), Leila Salazar and Anna Son (Criminal Justice Display Panel), and Callie Ritchey (Health Science Display Panel). All projects received a perfect score at District. We are super proud of all of our DHS students who competed and did so well at Skills USA!!
